Show it if you mean it

If you say you’re excited, I’ll believe you *if* you’re going to show it, too. If the behaviour doesn’t match the words, then questions will pop into my mind. 🧐 Don’t y’all feel the same?…

Lately so many people say with the straightest of faces “I’m sooooo excited to do this and that”. How can I believe that? How can I trust that when what I see doesn’t match what I hear? And, oh!, don’t get me started on the tone of the voice! It’s dry! No excitement whatsoever…

I wonder what’s the point? Only to make the sell?
