…people giving out free stuff? As in, when we see it’s a new business trying to make its way through the market with a giveaway, why would you not trust it? Why is it that we only trust people who seem to have a benefit from helping us? Are they really that much more trustworthy?! Maybe they’re just pretending to manipulate us.
Why is is that we actually believe someone wouldn’t hurt us if they have a little gain from helping us? I have seen people getting hurt by people who helped them tremendously, so the reasoning doesn’t stand.
What do you think? Is it easier to trust someone who appears to have a personal interest for helping?
