How many times have you heard this phrase? “Focus on ROI”. Basically we are told and taught that we should focus on what’s in it for us, right? What will return to us from our investment.
Why can’t we do something out of kindness, without expecting returns on our investments? Granted, in business, whatever it’s done for free always has a manipulative substrate to it. Truth of the matter is that is hard not to expect anything, even if just a thank you or a silent acknowledgement. I guess it’s just the humans’ way of getting motivated and encouraged.
Do you focus on ROI? Or are you completely selfless? What do you think about this?
